Policy Advocacy

Through building a strong network with government departments, international trade research and training institutes, international trade organizations and mass media, the BFTI is working toward raising awareness of all concerned by providing updated information on important developments in the field of international trade, such as WTO agreements and other multilateral and regional trading arrangements, and their implications for Bangladesh. It provides policy advice to the government and private organizations to improve their negotiating strength and efficiency. The BFTI encourages debate on trade issues and facilitates exchange of ideas by holding seminars, workshops and conferences etc.
