Workshop on Empathy and Respect: The Cornerstone of Preventing Workplace Bullying and Harassment

Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) organized a Workshop titled “Workshop on Empathy and Respect: The Cornerstone of Preventing Workplace Bullying and Harassment” on 19 August 2025 at the BFTI Conference Room in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.

Mr. Md. Abdur Razzak (Additional Secretary), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), BFTI graced the event as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Ahsanul Islam, Joint Director of BFTI, delivered the welcome remarks, setting the tone for the session’s discussion. Mr. Rashedul Kabir, Research Manager, BFTI delivered the keynote presentation. All BFTI officials attended the workshop.

Prior to the keynote, a breakout session was held to gauge participants’ existing knowledge of the topic. Following the presentation, an interactive open discussion was conducted to gather participant feedback, during which BFTI officials shared their insightful views and perspectives.

Mr. Rashedul Kabir, Research Manager, BFTI concluded the workshop by emphasizing a shared commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment.
