Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) organized a training program on “Enhancing Professional Skills for Registration and Return Filing at RJSC (Batch-2)” in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) on 06 August 2025. The event took place at the Academic Block of BFTI in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.
Mr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Additional Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BFTI, graced the event as the Chairperson. In his opening remarks, he expressed sincere appreciation to RJSC for entrusting BFTI with the responsibility of organizing the training and thanked all participants for their valuable presence and engagement. He emphasized the importance of establishing a stable and predictable business environment and noted that the RJSC plays a crucial role in facilitating business formation as well as promoting good governance and accountability. He also stressed the need to simplify and digitize regulatory processes—such as registration, return filing, tax payment, and license renewal—to help boost exports. He further highlighted that the training aims to strengthen professional skills in RJSC registration and return filing, enabling participants to use the online platform efficiently and deliver faster, more transparent, and client-friendly services.The training was also attended by Mr. A.K.M. Nurunnabi Kabir, Registrar (Additional Secretary) of RJSC, as the Special Guest. He remarked that BFTI’s training program on “Enhancing Professional Skills for Registration and Return Filing at RJSC” is both timely and essential for building professional capacity and improving business efficiency. He added that the program will help develop skilled company law practitioners, which can reduce procedural costs and the overall cost of doing business, thereby fostering both direct and indirect investment.
