Certificate giving ceremony of the training on “Enhancing Professional Skills for Registration and Return Filing at RJSC (Batch-2)
The certificate awarding ceremony of the three-month (two days per week) long training program titled “Enhancing Professional Skills for Registration and Return Filing at RJSC (Batch-2)”, organized by the Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC), was held on 29 October 2025 at the BFTI Academic Block, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.
Mr. A.K.M. Nurunnabi Kabir, Registrar (Additional Secretary) of RJSC, graced the occasion as the Special Guest. The session was chaired by Dr. Saif Uddin Ahammad (Joint Secretary), Chief Executive Officer (Additional Charge) of BFTI. Mr. Harunur Rashid, Research Manager and Course Coordinator of the training program, delivered the welcome remarks.
Dr. Saif Uddin Ahammad (Joint Secretary), Chief Executive Officer (Additional Charge) of BFTI, emphasized that the primary objective of this training program was to enhance professional skills related to registration and return filing at RJSC. Through this initiative, participants acquired comprehensive knowledge of the Companies Act, 1994; Societies Act, 1860; Partnership Act, 1932; and Trade Organization Act, 2022, as well as practical skills in online registration, annual return filing, share transfers, capital changes, director changes, prospectus preparation, and mortgage registration, empowering them to perform their duties effectively and confidently, and making practical life more streamlined. Dr. Ahammad further stated that BFTI plans to continue this training on a regular basis, enabling a larger number of officials and professionals from both public and private sectors to benefit from these capacity-building initiatives.
Mr. A.K.M. Nurunnabi Kabir, Registrar (Additional Secretary), RJSC, emphasized the pivotal role of building professional capacity in regulatory compliance and return filing processes, describing it as a cornerstone for enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in business operations. He highlighted that equipping skilled professional can foster a more business and investment friendly environment, ultimately driving sustainable economic growth and competitiveness in global market.
Special Guest Mr. A.K.M.
