(BFTI) and University of Dhaka, Tourism and Hospitality Management (DTHM) department signed MoU to co-operate in research activities, relevant educational programs/trainings of mutual interest, creation of Tourism Research Center and any other activities relevant for the development. Participation in a live running commentary on the

National Budget, 2016-2017.

Channel-71, a private TV channel of Dhaka, is arranging a live telecast of commentaries on the National Budget, 2016-2017, beginning from 5.00 P.M. onwards on 2nd June, 2016. The arrangement is that while the Budget speech of the Finance Minister will continue to be telecast on TV, on channel-71 in this case, Mr. Ali Ahmed, the CEO of BFTI, and one or two other experts on budget matters will be present in the studios of channel-71 along with a moderator from the TV. Mr. Ali Ahmed and the other expert(s) would be asked questions, while the Budget speech runs, on different aspects of the Budget and they will provide ready answers to those.
02. This live session aired by the Channel-71, from 5.00p.m. onwards on 2nd June, 2016, is expected to be interpretative of the Budget itself and interesting to listen to.
